There is so many communication softwares with diferents technology out there that can connect to our servers, sometime configuration is a bit painless but the voice quality and the way the data is passing through network can be drastically different from one software to an other also remember to use a good microphone the best is to use a good headset/microphone wehn communicating, after finishing your call just unplug your headset to be able to hear your computer ringing when someone is calling you !! 

in Order to connect to our servers from your boat u need to install and run an SIP compliant software to register with us and use your account.

After several test we did choose X-Lite with the GSM Codec (best algorythm for compression and voice quality over wifi) the following is for Windows Xp/Vista isntallation for other platform Linux or Mac several others free software are on the market and ready to connect with us just ask us we will assist you and provide you with information.

First of all you need to download the software by clicking the link below :

Execute the installation by following step by step :

1) Click next
2) Click Next
3)Click Next
4)Click Next
5)Click Finish
6)Click NO
7)IMPORTANT Click No
8)Click Add
9)Put Your Name in display Name Put the extension number we gave to you in User name Put The password we provided to you Put telecodex.com in Domain Field Click on Proxy and under adress put telecodex.com Click on OK
10)in This example John Brown using extension 2127 with a password just created his account
11)Click on Close (information displayed will be different for you)
12)The software should have been register succefully with our servers, your username extension number should appear and the word ready should be there as well
13)Taking Off AUTO upgrade, you have to right click with your mouse button on the screen of the software choose Options
14)Take off the option "Prompt me when an upgrade is available" and than click OK   Now you can start to  receive calls and make calls as well.  Enjoy
