If you are a subscriber of our services to reach another boat you just need to dial the extension, for the rest of the world if you dial the public phone you can reach the boat if their extension is online or their voicemailbox if they are not online and you leave a message an email message wil be sent to let them know that they have a message waiting for them, on the next wifi connection they will be glad to call you back or not ;)

Outside world dialing the public phone number will be charge long distance if you are not in the local area of the phone number you are trying to reach.

I don't understand? will I will get charge if I am dialing the public phone number ?

lets give some examples :

Robert want to reach the boat Pyrene he is living in Bordeau France : Robert wil not get long Distance call on his phone bill because the termination call is a bordeau France Number no matter where the boat Pyrene is.

another example :

Christine  want to reach the boat Ma Blonde, Christine is living in montreal (area code 514) so she will dial with her cellular or public phone at home 514.667.0967 and she will NOT get long distance call because again teh termination call is in her area of local call 

BOAT TO BOAT :

boat "Ma Blonde" want to talk to boat "La belle Lurette II" the boat will dial 1020 and the software on the boat "La belle Lurette II" will ring if they are online otherwise he will get the voicemailbox
